*Finding Employees Made Easy!*
The Detective 20 in and out board window displays a list of user names and their status, return times, phone numbers, user comments, and punch times in real time. You can sort these by any column. Each user can personalize the way their screen looks. With a quick
glance finding employees is made easy. You can quickly change your status, and if you have access, change another user’s status. Select a status from the many built in ones or create your own status types for users to choose from. User names are previously entered along with login names and passwords, phone
numbers, and department names. You create department names and assign them to each user. Then, when browsing the list of user names, you can easily filter out names either by department name or by status.

Reporting

Detective 20 is an employee status board but can also generate some comprehensive employee tracking reports. Each time a user changes their status information the transaction, along with a physical punch time, gets recorded into a database. The punch time can originate from the user’s computer or a network server. With this data, you can generate attendance history reports that lists user names and their status, return time,

comments, and punch time. It enables you to generate an hours report that lists user names and their hours worked, mean and median hours worked, and mean in and out times. You can define report criteria such as specifying starting and ending date, name, or department. Reports can be sent to a printer, exported to excel, or a dbase file.

*Access Control*
With Detective 20 you can easily maintain user profiles, assign customizable department names used for filtering, and setup program access rights. All of the built in features Detective 20 offers can be accessed by the user or can be individually controlled and
locked down centrally at the user level by an administrator. You can also define which computer Detective 20 will get its punch time from. It can be pulled from the user’s local computer clock or from a server on your local network. Each user has a login in user name and password that governs their access.
To indicate a user’s status Detective 20 comes with a variety of status codes ready for your users to select from. You can modify or delete any of these built in codes and also add new codes you may require.

Detective 20 is installed on each user’s computer. It is a very small application and requires minimal memory. When minimized it stays out of the way by residing in the system tray. Detective 20 stores its information in a database that is installed on a network server.
